Volunteer Opportunities

The museum has multiple opportunities to volunteer. 

• Give tours and become a docent. We will train you. A great deal of information is posted or written down. Being an expert is not required just a love of talking with people. 
• Help is always needed with the background of running a museum: newsletters, building displays, painting, cleaning, writing grants.
• The swap meets need assistance with the auction, setting up tables, kitchen duty, and giving tours.
• Help kids talk to Santa by radio. 
• The museum participates in WV history day, ham-fests, emergency preparedness, and other activities. Help is needed hauling equipment, manning the booths, and bringing snacks.
